Silver Dolphins
The idea for Silver Dolphins came from my daughter and was further inspired by our joint love of Cornwall and the sea. We’ve seen dolphins and seals when on holiday there and it’s always a magical sight. The books are written in my special writing name, Summer Waters.
When Antonia Lee wins a silver dolphin necklace in a competition she discovers that she’s also been chosen for a very important role. When the dolphins call a special magic allows her to swim with them, to care for the sea and the creatures living there.
We can all help to look after the seas. One of the easiest ways is by never dropping litter. Every year thousands of sea creatures including dolphins are injured or die from rubbish related accidents. Please put your rubbish in a bin. If there’s no bin then take it home with you. It could save a dolphin, or another animal’s life.

My 9 year old daughter has collected the whole series and loves them. They are well written and easy to read with enough adventures to keep this age group interested - especially if they like dolphins!
